After an afternoon nap, we headed to Epcot tonight, our last night in Orlando. We got there a little later than planned; Carter took a later nap than usual. WE had planned to head straight to the Mexico area to eat in a restaurant we really like there, but they were full, and we had to make anew plan.
We got some beer and pretzels in the Germany area, and then Carter spent some time checking out the toy train display. It's interesting that last year he found this mildly interesting, but this year it was completely captivating.
We ended up eating dinner at a pub in the British area, and our table was right on the water with a perfect view of the spectacular fireworks show. Carter loved them and squealed the entire time.
The park closed after that, so we slowly made out way to the exit. Someone gave Carter a light-up sword, and he loved it! It changes color when you push a little button, and he just thought it was the best thing ever. Here is a picture of him with it in front of the big Epcot Christmas tree.
It was a good way to end our trip here. Tomorrow we fly home, sadly. I'm already looking forward to next year!
