Rainy day at IKEA

I love the fact that something as simple as wooden tracks and little wooden trains can keep Carter entertained for ages. There's nothing flashing or making noise, and it doesn't go on its own. It's just fun, and I love that something so simple makes him so happy.

I sometimes worry that Carter's life is too complicated, too full of technology that is affecting his childhood experiences in negative ways. But then he reminds me through his choices what's really important. :-)
