Super quick post to say that tomorrow we're heading out on our annual Thanksgiving trip to Orlando! We're super-excited and have been looking at videos and pictures online the last few evenings.
This year we're staying at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, which looks like a fantastic hotel. And believe it or not, it's the lowest rate we'll have ever paid in Orlando! The first year we stayed at one of the Disney resorts and it was SO expensive. Last year we stayed at a Hilton (that was more expensive than this Hyatt, though closer to Disney) and the price of our trip was nearly a THIRD of what it had been the year before. Lesson learned! This place looks fantastic and has a gorgeous pool and even a little beach and a lake. :-D
We're also excited because Carter is now 40 inches tall (and almost 41" with shoes on), so there is a whole new set of rides he'll be able to ride. He's also very interested in riding rides this year and is very excited about all the roller coasters he'll be able to go on, so it should be a lot of fun!
I just finished packing and it's time to get Carter out of the tub and ready for bed. There should be lots of pictures in the next handful of posts!
