It was a beautiful fall day today, and we decided to go to Sweet Berry Farm up in Marble Falls, about an hour north of Austin, for the last weekend of their fall festival. It was our last chance to wander around a corn maze, among other things, and it sounded like fun. Carter and I last visited this farm in the summer when we were picking strawberries and it was crazy hot. It was nice to be there with a totally different feeling.
Here are some pictures from our visit today. Here Carter is on a miniature Kubota tractor!
He loves goats. Goats don't love him back quite so much.
I thought this was a cute picture.
Hayrides are always lots of fun.
We saw this cool knotty old live oak during our hayride.
Carter was happy to have Mommy and Daddy with him today.
There were still lots of pumpkins.
And of course, a corn maze!
Carter liked ringing the bell at the end of the maze.
He also loved pushing the wheelbarrows around, of course.
We finished our visit with homemade ice cream.
It was a lot of fun,and Carter wore himself out running around. He fell asleep on the drive home and took a 3-hour nap! It was a good way to spend an afternoon. :-)
