Happy Easter!

I meant to take pictures of Carter checking out his Easter basket this morning, but I forgot to in the excitement. The big hit of the morning was a set of Matchbox cars inside Easter eggs. The look on Carter's face when he realized there were cars inside was priceless. He was so excited!

It was gorgeous here yesterday, and we heated up the pool so that we could go swimming. We've been limited to the hot tub all winter, so it was really exciting to be able to get in the big pool. Here are some pictures:







He's pretty fearless in the water, which can be scary. He thinks he can swim a lot better than he actually can! But he's able to swim a little better every time we get in the pool, and I know it's just a matter of time before he'll be jumping off the side and swimming around like a fish, and I won't have to keep a hand on him constantly.

And what's better after a good swim than watermelon?



It feels like summer! I just wish it would stay like this, and not go on to get 25 degrees hotter...
