Nov 26: WDW Day 2

Happy Thanksgiving!

We slept in this morning and had breakfast while watching the Macy's parade on TV. It was nice not to have to go anywhere or do anything! AT least, it was until Carter tripped and smacked his lip on the coffee table, resulting in a big bloody mess. A little Mommy milk calmed him back down, and once we got him cleaned up it didn't look too bad. We have since moved that coffee table to a different spot!

We headed back to Epcot this morning to see a few more things. On the way out I took a picture of the lobby of our hotel, all decorated for Christmas:

We had a lunch reservation at a Moroccan restaurant in Epcot for lunch, and that was a lot of fun. Carter tried a little bit of everything, but what he liked most was a pat of butter. :-P

The waiter wrote his name down (approximately) and then wrote what it would be in Arabic:

I am now really starting to appreciate restaurants where they cover the table with white paper and give the kids crayons, by the way. He's finally old enough to entertain himself by drawing!

After lunch we went over to The Seas area of Epcot, which starts with a Nemo-themed ride. This was Carter's first-ever amusement park ride. Despite the expression of apprehension here, he seemed to enjoy it.

After that we explored the aquarium, which Carter LOVED. He kept saying, "Wow!" and "Cool!"

He cried when we left, and kept saying, "More fish!" But he was exhausted, and he was asleep within minutes of the ride back to our hotel. While he was napping, I wandered around the hotel and took some pictures. The hotel is surrounded by a "savanna" habitat with lots of animals, which is really cool!

This one was taken from our balcony:

This is the pool. I hope we'll have a chance to get in it!

The weather was a lot nicer today, mid-70s with a beautiful blue sky. We've just finished dinner in our room, and we're planning to head to the Magic Kingdom this evening. Should be crowded, but fun!
