Socks so big!

Check out this picture:

The first pair of socks are ones I knitted for Carter when he was in the NICU. He wore them, and they fit him. (I need to dig up a picture of that.) The second pair I knitted for him last weekend. They are a little big, but they basically fit his almost-size 6 feet. Crazy!

Here's a pic of Carter I took after our swimming lesson today.

I just got that little coverup for him for swimming, and it's a size 2T. 0_0 Granted it's big on him, but again, CRAZY. He looks a little bleary-eyed because they chlorine the heck out of that pool at the swim school. I can still smell it on me, 12 hours later. He did really well today, and went under for 3 seconds after his jump-off. He finally learned to high-five the swim teacher, heh.

Today Carter learned to say "box", "slide", and "night-night" and learned the signs for "car", "sleepy", and "sky". Those are just the ones I can remember, LOL. His little brain is soaking up everything, and it's so amazing to watch.

He talks in his sleep too. It's precious. :-)

Awwwww-what a little sweetie! They are little sponges at this age. He is a super smart little boy like his mother and father. Jenn, you are a wonderful teacher. I can see why he like learning-he has a great mommy and teacher. I still sing Matti the monkey song and she absolutely loves it.
Enjoyed catching up on all of your posts. Carter seems to be getting into a lot these days. Busy boy. Good for him! That is awesome!
